Iso Numero is a not-for-profit social enterprise. It creates work opportunities for people who cannot find income elsewhere. We work with people regardless of their situation or background. Our mission is to help people help themselves.
What do we do?
We are best known for the Iso Numero magazine. It is a monthly high quality magazine that is sold in the streets by our sellers. The magazine can be sold by anyone who needs money, new skills or social support to move on in their lives.
The sellers buy magazines from our office and sold them on the street for 10 euros. On average, the seller earns 5-7 euros per sale. You can sell the magazine without a bank account or work permit. Unsold magazines can always be returned or exchanged.
We have thousands of loyal customers around Southern Finland. We also have many important corporate and charity supporters. We work together so that cities are fair places for everyone. Our community helps sellers change their lives.
Selling the magazine is meaningful work that requires patience and learning new skills. Every seller has to follow our rules and wear their seller ID whenever selling the magazine.
Over ten years our sellers have earned over 1,2 million euros of income through their work. Monthly we have over 100 sellers around Southern Finland.
We have also created magazine subscription service that employes sellers.
