There is no job interview, no CV, no fixed schedule and no minimum amount you have to sell. You decide yourself when, where and how often you want to sell. You can start small, try it out and see if selling is right for you.
What is Iso Numero?
Iso Numero is a Finnish street magazine and social enterprise. Since 2011, we have created opportunities for people to earn income independently by selling the magazine directly to their own customers.
More than 1,000 people from different backgrounds and nationalities have sold Iso Numero over the years. Our sellers are supported by thousands of customers who buy the magazine.
When someone buys Iso Numero from a seller, they get an independent Finnish magazine – and at the same time support the work of the person selling it.
How does selling work?
As an independent Iso Numero seller, you buy magazines from us and resell them directly to your own customers.
You can sell the magazine in public spaces, such as streets, parks and marketplaces. You choose your own sales location and decide when and how often you want to sell.
New sellers receive a limited number of free starter copies to try selling the magazine. After that, you can buy copies from our office for €7.50 each and resell them to your customers.
The suggested retail price is €15, but you agree the final selling price directly with your customer. The difference between what you pay for the magazine and what you sell it for is yours.
How much can you make?
It depends entirely on how much you choose to sell and the prices you agree with your customers.
Some people sell Iso Numero occasionally for a little extra income, while others sell regularly and make it an important source of income.
Around 1 in 6 active Iso Numero sellers sells more than 100 magazines per month. So while you can start small, selling the magazine can also become a significant source of income if you find a good sales location and build your own regular customer base.
As an Iso Numero seller:
- You decide yourself when you want to sell
- You choose how often you want to sell
- You choose your own sales location
- You buy magazines from us and resell them directly to your customers
- You keep the difference between your purchase price and your selling price
- You don’t need a CV or previous experience
- You receive a limited number of free magazines when you start
- If you want, our team can share information about places where sellers have previously sold magazines successfully
- You can practice Finnish or English while meeting customers
People from all backgrounds and nationalities are welcome. You don’t need to speak Finnish to get started.
Iso Numero sellers sell independently and are responsible for their own taxes and other personal obligations.
